History

CoreWeave was originally founded as Atlantic Crypto in 2017, with a focus on cryptocurrency mining]. In 2019 it rebranded as CoreWeave and pivoted to the GPU cloud business1. CoreWeave had its Nasdaq IPO on 28 March 2026, and was added to the Nasdaq-100 index in June 20262.
